I tried using this 9" Grinding Wheel on my new 9" Makita Angle Grinder to grind off a backing bar, and it just kept polishing and not grinding. I had to use a sand paper flapper disk on a 4 1/2 grinder to get the job done.Very disappointing.

I purchased the 10 pack because it made the cost per wheel $3.20 a piece. I didn't need 10 but couldn't stomach paying $9 for 1 wheel. I used it to grind off some metal for welding. This is an aggressive disc. I was grinding 3/4"x5" steel plate. It took some time but worked quite well. It does a great job and is a quality component to add to your shop.

Great value! Loving this 9" wheel! Strong, and Makita quality! My grinder is 6,000 rpm. Check speed on your grinder, this wheel max is 6600 rpm!Use guard and fire resist clothing!
