This is not Impact rated! I was using this to remove a 1/2” bolt with a wrench on the other side, and this completely broke. I’m not sure if Makita, or the seller themselves are the ones claiming this is impact rated, but it’s not! I was using an XDT11Z rated for 1500 in pounds of max torque, it this matters.

I’ve always considered Mikita products to be of high quality. Sadly, this bit holder does not live up to those expectations. I’ve only had this holder for a few weeks and now the retracting sleeve is stuck and won’t extend anymore. The bit holder also shows a lot of wear. The metal used to construct this bit holder is not great quality. The hex port is beginning to lose its shape and bits tend to get stuck and difficult to remove from the holder.

Looks well made . Can't wait to try it . Couldn't find this size in stores . The well know brand . Don't look as good as this one . I'll be using it to help put my sister's floor down .

I had a device from another manufacturer, it worked great but my Makita impact driver destroyed it. I live having the extension tube to keep the screw in alignment. Makes it easy for one-handed operation.

when using a driver, impact, drill, or other, to drive screws. This makes it so much better. Load the screw, and drive it, one hand. really nice when on a ladder. works well to remove screws to even when they are obscured.

Great product to use with an impact gun or any drill really.. hold up very well especially with an impact where the other sliding bit holders would break down.
