Bought this to drive 10" Timberlok screws into PT 6x6 beams. Predrilled the holes and drove 40 or 50 10" screws on 1 battery. It's still got charge left, too. This thing is loud, but it's got torque and doesn't eat through batteries either.

Exceeded expectations, very comfortable to use. Many drive options for more delicate applications. Forward reverse switch feels very secure. Not gonna accidentally bump it and switch directions. Quick insert collett. Dual ball bearing retention. Bits will not fall out on their own. Quick setting change button above the trigger, trigger is variable speed. Ring in the front glows in the dark after being exposed to prolonged light. All parts of imapct driver are here in 100% operational condition. Unable to tell the tool is not brand new. This tool is capable of removing lug nuts from mid size cars and trucks. As well as driving a small screw into thin metal and not stripping anything out. this tool gets used DAILY for my job of Appliance Repair

Renewed looks and works like brand new.Has a ton of features and settings.Has enough control for delicate work and all the power you need on high setting.Battery life is a lot better than the older brushed models of makita impact drivers.

This is a very nice impact driver. 4 speeds and 4 preset modes that are useful if you use your impact for multiple application like I do. It takes some getting used to all the different speeds and presets and what works for the job you are doing. It is small,light, and powerful( for a 1/4” impact driver). I believe it is a bit expensive for just home use. I haven’t had a bad makita 18v impact. This is my 3rd one and the others still work just not the power they had when they where new. Over 5 yeas on each doing electrical work. They have pay for themselves. Just remember if it gets hot let it cool or you will burn it up(Power tools 101).

This is a workhorse! Drive 3” screws without effort. Had a great torque setting feature. Works hard and seems to go forever even when I forget to put it back on the charger at end of day. I’m a happy consumer! 😊
