The Locking Duct Stretcher pulls duct sections together and holds them in place while freeing both hands to align and install drive cleats. The DS3 locks on from either side of duct connection. No need to adjust wheels! Simply place wheel located on moveable cam to one side of adjoining duct flanges. Turn handle downward to pull duct sections together and lock in place. Greater wheel clearance makes capturing the ends of duct sections, even misshapen flanges, easier than ever. The versatile shape of the DS3 frame also lets you hook and pull duct from above as the drive cleat is coaxed along the remainder of flanged track. The durable all steel frame extends beyond wheel edges, making it safe to push, hammer and bend drive cleats as necessary to complete installation. An offset handle design eliminates knuckle contact with work.

Square duct can be a pain to work with sometimes. This not only makes it easier to join connections but ALSO makes it possible to work without another personOnly gripe is the price point, but it's a tool you shouldn't ever have to buy again once you have it.

Great tool to have, just recently ran across them an got them just for the heck of it.. after day one of use they are a must have when installing square duct.. big, small, it doesn't matter once it's locked in your hands free to do whatever you need.. easy to use, heavy duty and a huge help, ESPECIALLY on bigger duct or when your working alone..

works great if you are working by yourself, that way you can get lock you duct in place and makes installing the drive cleat so nice, most of the time it just slides in to place, don't even need the hammer

Das Hubby LOVES this thing! The guys at work had never seen anything like it, and were apprehensive of its effectiveness. Now they all ask to borrow it! lol! He has to hide it deep in his tool box at work! HA! This is the coolest product, and VERY well made! We were both surprised at the weight of the thing, it is SOLID!He HIGHLY recommends this to any duct guy. Get it!

Awesome, however the locking mechanism gets in the way sometimes. Since most HVAC is installed in tight spots I recommend if you have a helper then just buy the standard one. Works great on commercial jobs tho, since there's usually more space to work and the ducts are larger so the lock really helps

I was amazed when I came across this duct stretcher. It's almost like having another set of hands and allows me to hang some big pieces of duct by myself. Once the wheels of the tool secure both mating sides of the drive, just lock the handle and the duct is going nowhere! Malco quality. Tinner recommended!
