Living in an apartment complex the Kayak has to be moved from our apartment across a street and down a hill to get to the water.. and using this makes it something he can do by himself and also carry all the fishing supplies he needs.

I bout this to go camping. I hauled my Ascend FS10 with full fishing gear about 1/3 of a mile with ease. It fit nicely on the bow of the kayak under the straps when not in use. My walk was a combination of paved ground, grass, gravel and sand at the end. The sand was real deep so that was the only hard part. Would reccomend.

I got this to help launch a lightweight (around 120#) 15' sailboat. Although it's designed more for kayaks or canoes, it handles the boat just fine, at least on a relatively hard surface (soft sand might not work so well). Assembly is trivial, just push the wheels onto the axles until they snap into place and you are done.

My biggest complaint is the straps have a hard time holding the kayak/canoe while hauling over uneven surfaces. It's quite wonky and frustrating.By the time I get this thing strapped on I could have hauled it to wherever I needed.A better strap design could have made this a better product.

Directions for the Clippertrx Deluxe were easy to understand. Assembly was quick. Maneuverability is great.

A kayak cart must be designed to fit in the kayak hatch, which are all the same size. This think will not fit in either our Ocean Kayak or our Mirage kayaks because it is too big. The design is stupid. Sent it back and purchased a kayak cart that breaks down and fits in the hatch. Don't buy this thing unless you plan to strap it on top of your kayak, or hoof it back to your car to store it.
