Good safety hat. I like the straps as they keep the hat fixed even when in awkward positions. High viz yellow makes it easy to be seen by others when working close to roadways. Only issue i saw was at its largest setting the hat just fit me so if you have a larger head this might not fit well.

What's not to like? It's a Type 2 with side impact protection and it's got a chin strap. My employer is moving towards Type 2 hard hats for field staff because we work around moving booms and backhoes so there is a good possibility of side strikes on heads, but of course the company provided hard hats are pretty cheaply made. I like the headlamp retaining straps so they don't slip off and don't require any other type of adhesive which might compromise the hard hat (although it hasn't stopped me from adding stickers to the helmet). The yellow is very visible (which is the point, right?) although the rest of my staff has vanilla white colors, so I do stand out (but I am the Superintendent) but I don't mind at all. The chin strap is just like all the other chin straps I've ever used which for the most part good, and comfortable enough, although I know most people don't tighten them correctly anyway. Ratchet headband is quick and I like the sweatband feel which doesn't leave marks either. I would recommend this hard hat for daily use if you need a restrained Type 2 for your jobsite. It appears well constructed and looks good too. I have a big head so all hard hats sit high on my noggin and this hat doesn't sit any higher than normal ones.

This is an above average quality hardhat. The suspension seems good. It fits my husband comfortably, better than average. It seems to sit a little higher than the average hardhat, but it hasn't been an issue. The chin strap is a nice feature to have. It is a reasonable price for the quality.

It keeps deleting my one star review. Yea that’s not sketchy or anything. Way too small. You’d think it would have a much wider adjustable range since there are no sizes. Also very heavy. This hard hat sucks

This helmet was a good fit. Even though I don't need a voltage rating, it's nice to know.The padded head band and top are comfortable. Comes with a chin strap, don't need one, but it's nice to have that option. It has an adjustable dial in headband for your head size, and that can be a plus, if your hair in my case, grows quickly.I like the full brim, keeps stuff off your neck. Vented to help with the heat some days. All around a good helmet. Bright color to be sure you're seen. Comes in various colors as well.Currently priced at $79.99, good deal for the ANSI ratings.

This is a high quality helmet. I am using it for home construction safety. The adjustability of the fit makes it easy to fit my head and keep it from wobbling or falling off. The rachet system is really easy to use. Just turn it one way to loosen and the other to tighten the fit. This helmet is comfortable for all day wearing. It is one of the better looking helmets that I have had. It is not too heavy for me. The chin strap was easy enough to adjust for a better fit. The plastic of this helmet is thick and feels very sturdy. The brim helps to keep the sun out of my eyes. I really like this helmet. Well worth the price.

Excellent hardhat! At least so far. I have no accidents using it to this point and hopefully I never have any. But the construction and fit are excellent. Even the chin strap is handy. For me, when looking way up to the tree tops. The hat also has mounting points for headlamps, basically all the way around the hat. I know that doesn't sound useful but it would be a handy option to use a light facing forward with another light facing backward. For example, in the woods at night, a nice bright light to light your way going forward. And a red light on the back so others can see and follow you in dark or smokey situations.My main use for this hat is around the house and in the woods clearing brush, bringing down dead trees, and processing downed trees. I like the full brim feature too. It's also rated for use on the types of job sites I visit from time to time so having that is another bonus.
