About this item

  • 【Durable Material】: Our product is mainly made from copper which has excellent thermal conductivity, allowing the sensor to quickly and accurately detect changes in the coolant temperature. This ensures precise data is relayed to the engine control unit for optimal engine management. The use of copper in our sensor's construction contributes to a longer lifespan.
  • 【Accurate Temperature Monitoring】: Accurate temperature data allows the engine control unit to make precise adjustments to the air-fuel mixture, ignition timing, and other engine parameters. Our product can help ensure optimal engine performance under varying operating conditions. And accurate temperature monitoring also allows for better diagnostic accuracy.
  • 【Compatibility】: Before ordering, please check your OEM number and your vehicle model to make sure our sensors are compatible with your vehicle. The OEM number of our product is 5149077AB, 514909AB, SU13812, SU13813 and TX195. And our sensor is compatible with 2008-2017 Wrangler, 2014-2019 Cherokee, 2008-2012 Liberty, 2009-2014 Avanger, 2008-2019 Challenger, 2009-2018 Charger, 2011-2017 Chrysler 200, 2009-2019 Chrysler 300 and more.
  • 【Easy Installation】: Installation usually requires only basic hand tools, such as a wrench or socket, making it accessible for vehicle owners. Our sensor is designed to match the specifications of the OEM part, allowing for a straightforward, plug-and-play installation without the need for modifications.
  • 【Enhanced Engine Performance】: Our ECT sensor provides real-time temperature data that the ECU uses to adjust the air-fuel ratio. By ensuring the mixture is optimal for the engine's current temperature, the sensor helps improve efficiency, leading to better power output and smoother engine operation, therefore, enhancing engine performance.

This does NOT fit a 1999 Dodge 1500 Ram van with the 5.2l engine.I'm sure it's a perfectly working sensor, but the description that it will fit the above engine is wrong.

My wife's Volvo needed a new sensor and this fit the bill. Works just fine and perfect fit. Saved some cash as well.

I hate it when a check engine light comes on!! It usually means I have to fix something that is either costly or a difficult to fix or both. Thankfully the code was for my engine coolant temperature sensor and it was not expensive, but the sensor is not in an easy place to reach. (2005 Pontiac Montana SV6) It took me some major yoga positions to get to the sensor with a socket set. Once I got it replaced and used my OBDII scanner to clear the code it has not come back.
