I broke the stock shifter going into reverse so ordered this one and it seems like a well built product. Welds looked great and threads were smooth. It is a bit noisy with a dual disk, maybe it's the location of the dampener or just the material in general but it's not unbearable. The shifts feel a little more solid so that's a plus. I doubt I'll have to drive home without a shifter again. Would recommend if you're going for reliability.

overall a nice product. deburr job could be a little better from the manufacturer, definitely has some sharp edges. I had to repair the starter thread where the shift knob goes. easy enough with a file but someone less mechanically inclined would probably goober up their shift knob before they realized it. appears to have been damaged in transit. feels sturdy after install. I did add a couple thin pieces of rubber when I bolted the new shifter up to negate some of the noise. it is a bit noiser than the stock shifter since I have a dual disk clutch but it's really not too bad. shifts are a bit shorter (this shifter is just a smidge shorter than stock) and I can feel the shift better which is what I wanted.

Fits well. It is louder than stock, but I have the radio on most of the time, so it doesn’t bother me.

This is a quality product that is well worth the money. The company is very responsive and will assist with any issues. I have a Southbend dual disk clutch which is noisy to start with, and yes, you can hear more noise with this shifter. But if I wanted a quiet truck that would leave me stranded someday, I would have have automatic with EPA approved exhaust system. The noise is not objectionable at all.

Great craftsmanship. Beautiful welds (CWI). There is nothing this shifter can do to stop the rattle of the G56. The harmonics resonate up the shaft into the cab. Stock uses an isolater to capture the noise. I found that a cloth draped over the shifter on the highway quiets it down significantly. The attached weight should be positionable to allow for adjusting the resonance frequency.

Fitment is excellent! Location of the shift knob is perfect!

If you have a dual disk clutch, forget about this damned thing. It makes it so loud it's just annoying. I can hear ever sound coming from my G56 and I cannot stand it. When I race I really jam the gears in and I'm assuming that the stock shifter has a little flex because the very first race I did with this shifter, I ruined the synchros in my 4th gear. I'm not kidding, the very first shift. Now that's not the products fault but I'm just warning any one who has a high power build just to avoid this if they want to jam gears. If it wasn't so noisy I'd probably deal with adjusting my racing for it because it does make shifting a little better.

works great, nice part, shifts much more precise than the faulty stocker, only down side is the shifter has no rubber isolator like the stocker so it lets the noise from the trans inside the cab
