About this item

The same original Assist Handle used by major RV builders for 3-5 step aid when entering and exiting 5th wheel, motorhome, toy haulers, and other RVs and Trailers. Can also use in home settings for garage entry steps.
Stows away by folding against side of RV. Just lift, rotate, and reseat in the durable brackets for travel or use. Shape allows for 2 stowing options (toward front or back) and 1 open position.
Designed and engineered for maximum strength and support, with soft form padded, non-slip grip area for added comfort. Brackets are engineered for style as well as durability with no exposed fasteners on the UV polycarbonate bracket (end caps).
Important to source screws that work with your sub-straight and application to get the best results and firm support – that is why screws are not included. Use silicone sealant to seal any old holes (not included). Installation instructions are included in box and can be downloaded below in this listing.
Product Dimensions: 27.5” height, 15” horizontal projection when open. Brackets (end caps) 4” h x 1.76”w x 2.4” d. Four #10 pan head screws are recommended per each end for maximum hold (8 screws total – not included). Always source screws that are best for your specific installation needs.

The Stow & Go Folding Assist Handle is cleverly designed to allow for easy entry and exit of 3-5 step RVs, 5th Wheels, or trailers. Also, it can be used on home stairs for additional entry support. The assist handle has a secure padded and ribbed, non-slip grip handle for maximum comfort. Hidden fasteners and the sleek design are engineered into the brackets/end caps for style as well as strength. It stows aways easily with two secure storage positions during traveling (toward the front or back). To use lift the handle up and turn then reseat into position. The handrail assist handle has over 7/8” door clearance and works with multi-step units. The brackets are strong polycarbonate with textured EVA foam grip area on the aluminum arm. 8 total #10 panhead screws are recommended but are not included. Always source screws that are appropriate for your installation. Use silicone to fill any holes from earlier installations to prevent water intrusion.

I like the looks of this. It appears to be sturdy. I haven’t put it on the camper yet because it is way too cold but I think it will work out nicely. One thing though. Screws do not come with it. That really isn’t that big of a deal. I just want people to know in case they think the screws got lost or were not packed.

Item arrived fast and in good condition. It was an exact replacement for the one I had on my RV so installation was easy. I did have to drill out the screw holes on the mounting bases to fit the screws that held the old one in but that was easy.

This looks and fits like an exact replacement for a handle that broke off my travel trailer however it does not work the same. Its difficult to lock into place for use and it does not lock into place for storage. Very disappointing. No installation directions and no screws.
