This container exceeded my expectations. Made from a solid piece of stone it is shaped and polished to a slick finish that is very pretty. The unique patterns in the stone stand out and the heft and durability of the stone gives it a quality feel. Very decorative and practical it is a very nice addition to any kitchen.

I really like this salt cellar! This is made from real marble and is precision-machined to not only be aesthetically pleasing but functional as well. The lid fits well and goes on effortlessly. I like the inclusion of the slot that’s big enough to accommodate a spoon with a different handle in case you’d like to replace it. I’m very picky about these types of items and won’t use them unless they meet my standards. This one passes with flying colors and I look forward to using this for years to come!

This is an attractive salt cellar with a nice streak pattern in the marble. It comes with a metal serving spoon that fits into a little notch in the bowl; I would have preferred a ceramic spoon but I guess I can look for one myself. Great for dispensing kosher or large crystal sea salt.

Perhaps I received a defective unit but the base portion does NOT have the notch as pictured. So the spoon handle prevents the lid from sitting properly closed. I was going to use this for sugar but will have to use it for something else. The marble is nice but, disappointed overall.

got this salt holder a couple weeks ago and its been sitting on my counter ever since. the marble looks nice, kind of fancy but not too much. its got that black and white pattern that goes with most kitchens i guess. the little spoon that comes with it is handy enough, though sometimes it slides inside when i put the lid back on.its not too big or small for what i need - fits a decent amount of salt or whatever you wanna put in there. ive been using it for my cooking salt but might try it for other stuff too. cleaning is simple, just wipe it down if it gets dusty. the lid fits ok most of the time but sometimes needs a little adjustment. looks nicer than the old salt container i was using before and doesnt take up much space. solid purchase overall, does what its supposed to do.

This is another item that exceeded my expectations in beauty and quality. It’s a heavy little thing and has a beautiful finish. I thought about using this for sugar, but I don’t really want a lid with a notch in it as I like the sugar to be sealed tight. So with the notched lid, I’m using this for salt. It’s a nice size, doesn’t take up too much room. It’s very attractive, beautiful really.

This is a beautiful salt cellar, though I'm using it as a sugar bowl. I ordered the white marble and got...gray. Sad trombone. I can easily say this is gray with white veining, that might be more accurate. I would have loved an actual white marble one because it's such a well-crafted, beautiful piece. Aside from the unfortunate color, I do love everything about it. It's on the smaller side, but it's a beautiful shape. Also of note, the spoon is of really good quality. So many times when you order something that brings an accessory, quality is often an afterthought, but not this. Even the spoon has some nice heft and shine to it.
