Simply plugged the device on by plugging it into NMEA 2k network and it was simple to just scan the list of devices for the one I wanted to display, Maretron WSO 200 wind instrument, and I had most of what I wanted from the display. There are many other pre-built configurations (screens) that I have not used yet.

Absolute garbage. I will never buy a maretron product again. Tried to use it to calibrate a TLM100, gauge will only read zero. Maretron refuses to refund their own product or offer any solution other than “uhhh I don’t know maybe try it again...?” Why would I hand pump 110 gallons of diesel out and then in again without changing anything and hoping for something to change.

Nice display. Replaced my Raymarine multifunction display with this one so I could display all the data from my Maretron wso100 wind and weather sensor at the top of my mast. The display worked great right up to the week before the warranty ran out when the touch buttons stopped working. Thankfully Maretron sent me a new one after they confirmed mine had failed. Hopefully the new unit will last!

I was kinda forced into purchasing this due to a lack of research on my part. It started with wanting to add NMEA 2000 exhaust gas temperatures & boost pressure info on my 410 Silverton Sport Bridge totally analog Cummins 5.9 6BTA-M3 diesel engines. This was after I had "upgraded" to 2 new Raymarine Axiom MFDs and several Raymarine i70s screens. I added the Maretron EGT sensors and TMP100 module that does the NMEA 2000 broadcasting ($600). I was able to obtain boost info via an Actisense EMU-1 & a VDO pressure gauge. ($600). I go to set up the boost & EGT gauges on the Axioms and low and behold Raymarine Lighthouse 3 doesn't read EGT temps (WHAT). I took this for granted as a simple engine need to know that Raymarine would've added hand & hand with Boost PGNs. Turns out that Raymarine has been promising customers EGTs on their screens for some time now and hasn't delivered.Enter the Maretron DSM 410. I was able to swap one of my Raymarine i70s units with the DSM 410. Roughly the same size and it doesn't stand out too much. So far, I like the utilitarian function of the DSM 410. The graphics are a little grainy but there is a graphic for almost everything (except AIS). The nice thing is if you go to the Maretron website you can download a DSM250 software emulator so you can play around with a desktop version of this MFD before buying in! What you see on your desktop is pretty much what the DSM 410 will look and function like. The screen is completely smooth black glass, which the picture of the listing doesn't do it justice. It's quite sleek but they went cheap on the bezel and it kinda detracts from the aesthetics. (1 star) I'm happy with my purchase of this unit, I just wish I hadn't gone with Raymarine now. And I'm not a big fan of the Maretron modular selling platform. I get why they do it but you really have to dive into their system to understand what will work with other NMEA 2000 products. But, oh well. At least I have a dedicated screen for boost and EGT. Now I can see the health of my engines at a glance.
