I needed a 20' collapsible mast that could go up fast in remote camps, but then lay down and clamp atop the camper for driving. This mount was the perfect solution to allow easy repositioning while still maintaining strong attachment when stowed rooftop and underway down the road. the marine threads it uses are standard pipe so very easy to adapt.
