Nice and useful and works well. Just be sure to install it propwer as ofc if not it won't be able to do what it's supposed to. :)

I'm pretty sure this is designed for a pontoon boat. This is identical to what I have, but it's metal rather than plastic. This is a high quality ladder. The movement of the components (supports and hooks) is smooth and not sloppy or loose. The metal steps are flattened, creating a comfortable place for your feet. It comes with the hardware to mount to the floor of the pontoon. The folding supports rest against the pontoons, keeping the ladder in a perpendicular position. The ladder folds up flat and in half, so it does not take up a lot of space, when not in use.Unfortunately, the pontoon is put away for the winter, so mounting will take place in the spring. Great ladder and a big step up from the plastic ones.

Too obstructing for pontoon. The supports wouldn’t line up with the tubes on pontoon and it would drag in the water. Works for front or back deck installation. There were no instructions when I got it.

Contrary to the product description, this ladder is NOT sturdy! We keep it mounted on the side of the boat to board at the dock. The frame is so weak it drops down when you stand on it (we only weigh 150-160 lb). That movement caused the cheap plastic feet on the standoffs to quickly wear through and then the metal gouged dimples into the side of our catamaran!! Now it's going to cost hundreds of dollars to have the gelcoat repaired!! So add $300 to the price to get the REAL cost of this piece of junk! I also need to find some good quality rubber chair feet that will fit and not quickly wear through - another maintenance item! I wish I could give this product ZERO stars!!

We used this for our boat so we have easier access to get in and out of the boat to swim, float and enjoy the water. The only thing we disliked was the box that the ladder came in was tore up a bit.

The most stable "removable" ladder I found. Once fitted to my gunwhale I'm much more secure boarding my boat from my dingy.

This was one of the only ladders with steel rungs.Most of the others are plastic.It doesn’t come with any instruction on how to install.It also doesn’t come with the Screws needed to installI bought some screws at the hardware store hope they are strong enough.Since the ladder has a weight rating the screws need to be suppliedThere are some plastic spacers in the bracket kit that I didn’t installTo use these spacers i would have had to add some an additional spacer plates so the ladder bracket would mount flush.The plastic brackets that hold the ladder together when folded might cut your leg when using the ladder.I removed these bracketsThe company I ordered this from didn’t respond to my questionsUnless you are handy i would not order this ladder
