This is a strange product. The metal part is a heavy and well-made acme screw with a nut piece with three flanges, each of which has two thru-bolts. Provided with the product are three orange climbing loops, each about two feet in diameter. No instructions are provided.I needed to pull a stuck prop off my Yamaha outboard. The website pic showed the orange straps wound around the outside of the prop with the bolts passing through the loops. For the puller to work, however, the three loops have to be wound around the prop and through each other such that you end up with three loop "ends" of exactly the same length to attach to the bolts for an even pull. I tried for an hour to wind the loops through each other and around the prop to accomplish this, but simply couldn't. A call to the customer service line was not helpful. They could not explain how to get the straps positioned as in the web picture. So I returned the product and ended up removing the prop by tapping the blades with a rubber mallet. There is something wrong with this product and my view is that the problem is the inclusion of the climbing loops instead of some other kind of strap. The lack of any instructions as to how to use the loops is also inexcusable.
