How to Set Up
Step 1
Rotate the setting knob on the back of the clock clockwise until the hands show 12:50.
Step 2
Insert three AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartments, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (–) ends match the indicated polarity markings.
Step 3
Rotate the knob to set the clock to the correct current time.

Love the clock- it is loud, with no way to turn it down. I put some scotch tape over the speaker to help dampen the sound.

I love my bird clock! It took getting used to, but now it's so lovely to hear it go off and it helps me know what time it is without having to look at the clock. (And it's so much fun to recognize the bird sounds when I'm outside!)It actually requires quite a bit of light to go off. A lamp next to it will activate it. A light on in an adjacent room will not activate it. So, you may hear the click for when it's reached the new hour, but it won't play audio.A couple of times my bird sounds have de-synced. There's a button on the back that you push until the right sound plays, and then it's fine again. Obviously that's a problem if you don't know any of the bird sounds, but there's ad videos of the clock that can help ya identify the correct bird/sound.I truly wish there was a way to control the volume of the audio. I'd love to have this clock at work, but I'd need it to be quiter. At home, though, it's fine. I'd say it's quieter than what most people set their tv at.

I love this clock it has the best bird sounds. There’s an older version but I pick this one because I love the eagle and the loon and the other clocks didn’t have them.

An amazing clock. So much fun to hear a bird call every hour. Clock has a light sensor and when it's dark out, the clock does not chime. A very smart design so that it does not wake anyone up at night. I gave this to a few different family members and it was a hit. Highly recommended.

El reloj es muy bonito, y hasta ahora ha sido muy preciso, desde que lo puse en su hora cuando lo compre en diciembre, no se ha desfazado, me marca la misma hora que un reloj atómico que tengo (que use para poner la hora)El sonido no es muy alto, pero se escucha muy bien, tiene un sensor de luz, que cuando este no la detecta los sonidos se desactivan, es fácil de leer y se ve muy bien, el color verde es un tipo militar que quizás sea el aspecto que menos me gusto, pero en general es un gran reloj para la cocina.

A nice clock and has improved bird sounds from previous generations however these are poorly made and the 3 purchases I have made (2 returns) all had manufacturing defects. One the sound stopped working and the other two the pin where the hands are attached was bent badly that it prevented the hands from passing. Until the place in China where these clocks are made provides an upgraded model I would avoid buying this clock for now. Without the defects I would highly recommend this clock. We have owned 2 previous generations and they worked perfectly for over 10+ years.As we live in Australia I have to also add the support from Amazon with this issue has been excellent. I have been a long time customer with Amazon and am happy to recommend buying from Amazon, just not this clock.
