Definitely like this product after my vet suggested this. Cured my ferret's bubble guts, but it does take time to see results.I mix it in his wet food rather than his water as he doesn't like the flavor and this way it doesn't go to waste — he eats the full amount. The only thing is, you can't heat it up too hot or you'll kill the bacteria. Treat it like baking yeast: not hotter than 100°F and it should be fine. Also, not sure if the pictures still show it, but this no longer contains dried milk powder as it used to in older bottles!

Doesn’t really do anything. If you want a good probiotic don’t buy this one.

Sometimes my ferrets poopy is a bit runny and this really helps!! Got it the first time when I brought home my baby ferret, she had a bit of diharrea. Now I just put a bit on their water everyday and I can tell a difference

I use this for my ferret to treat bouts of diarrhea or grainy stool. She has suffered from H pylori and completed cycles of antibiotics to cure acid reflux and poor digestion. As a result, it took a toll on her digestive flora and caused weight loss. I’ve have been using the 11 in one spray, but sometimes it does not seem to work. This product seems to work a little better than the spray version, and does not smell as bad. This is a dry powder that needs to be mixed with water. The drawback, there is no way I can convince her to drink much of this, and also I don’t intend to dump a whole bottle of water everyday. Instead I tried putting a little of the powder directly into her duck soup. ( see: uncle Jim’s duck soup for ferrets). Unfortunately, as a result, she suffered from bloat and mild colic. So Instead, I tried mixing a little powder with about 3 tablespoons of water and let it sit for 30 minutes before mixing 2 ccs of the solution into duck soup. She suffered no side effects and her poops looked normal within 24 hours. Overall I have been getting pretty consistent results doing this, so I use it daily, and back off if she shows signs of digestive upset. It does not take a lot of the bacteria to get results, just consistency. Watch for signs of abdominal distress as bacteria can produce gas in the gut. ( bloat, nipping, dooking, or dashing about in distress.) If this occurs, use less bacteria and more water. Also, many ferrets prefer soup, (and sometimes drinking water) slightly warmed (to about 99F), and may refuse to drink it cold. Do not add bacteria to very hot water as it may die off before being fed.

I bought this on a hunch for my ferret "Blossom. She has insulinoma (ferret folks know what I'm talking about) and due to the disease she tends to have IBD. I've recently started her on this product twice a day and I've seen a slight change in her stool and her overall behaviour. I feel like this product has helped her a bit. That's her in the pictureMy sweet ferret Blossom. She's the last one left in my little gang. Love her to bits

New baby came home with ECE, gave it to the adult ferret.Vet's often give out probiotics to clear up diarrhea. This sort of helped, but we ended up putting them on antibiotics and anti parasite medication,to prevent secondary infection from the ECE virus.Probiotics still don't have any accepted scientific medical evidence to help diahrea.
