Pool trowels are very popular in the interior finishing stages for swimming pools. This is because the rounded blade ends and the shorter mount which allows the blade to flex with the curvature of the pool. The finisher must be careful not to "burn" the plaster while troweling, leaving discoloration ont he interior finish.

Nice little trowel. I needed it for a groin vault ceiling I was plastering and it did the trick. I'm not wild on the clearance given between the handle and the blade (can't flip the mud like I'd like), but it's expected. Raised rivets are a bummer, but no one is using the middle of the blade anyway. It just makes cleaning cumbersome. All in all, a good trowel.
