WHAT IS A MARTINGALE COLLAR?
JIPIMON Martingale dog collars are grest for training dogs. You can tighten your dog for better control and correction when the dog pulls, and relax when the dog stops pulling, providing subtle hints of controlled training for your dog. Because of its mild nature and strong effect, it has been recognized by thousands of trainers. The main difference between a martingale collar and a regular collar is that it tightens up as a dog pulls. The purpose of this is not to choke the dog, but to prevent the dog from slipping out and escaping the collar. Safer and more comfortable than the choke or pointed coil that's always tight. Great for "escape artists", breeds with necks larger than their heads and growing puppies.

Item seems to be of solid material. My furkids are rough. Love the metal clasp . Happy that it is reflective as well. I have a hound mix that is about 60 lbs and bought the large. Could have possibly gotten away with the medium. Will order other items again with this company.

Easier than my mom to open. I had purchased a leather and chain martingale collar than stretched and failed in under 3 months. I found this and decided to try it. Not only is it super easy to remove when needed and even easier to clip together to get back on, but it is incredibly strong!My doggo is Maremma and huuuuge. We live in Texas and she hates the heat, swims when I allow the mess and lives a very spoiled life. She gets sheared like a sheep for the summer, which is 9 months of the year here; this collar adjusts from her full 23" neck down to 18" for her summer neck. There is no slippage for the adjuster which saves me from daily checking. She can swim and bathe with it on, it does not carry any smells after getting wet. It's got two reflective stitchings so she's visible when we walk at night.She loves this collar as much as I do. Grab you a few in different colors and gift these to your friends and family!

This collar is sturdy. It feels great and has padding. The reflective properties are visible even in daylight. My dog is a runner and the Martingale feature works perfectly. It slowed my dog down without any choking soundsThe clasp is awesome. The best part is the extra Steele rings and a tag ring. I searched collars for hours and this one had the best reviews, bright color, and multiple points for a leash. It lost one star from me because of sizing. Check the photos- doggo is 70 lbs Pitty and the medium is almost too big. I had to tighten it down to the logo. With that in mind, definitely size down. I love this collar. Great value, safe on my dogs neck and the clasp is exceptional and easy to open intentionally but not by accident. Buy it!

Love the quality of this collar - very well made, great hardware and reflectablility, nice attached tag loop, and easy on and off - and a nice variety of colors to choose from for those of us with more than one dog ;-)

My dog was wearing this collar out on his lead and he broke loose and attacked a dog going by on the road. The metal D ring that his lead was attached to on the collar is gone. Don’t know if it broke, or if the D is open inside the loop and it slipped. Either way I’m waiting now to find out if my dog is going to have to be put down. Do not trust this collar!

Love this collar. Nothing like it in the big stores. The collar has reflective ribbon, stong, neat stitching, a unique metal clasp that has little levers that provide extra security when the collar is on. It is comfortable to unlatch with my not so strong hands. At the same time, it’s not coming unlatched without you wanting it to. My 35lbs pit mix is a jumper, he’s worn it for about 2 months without any accidental unlatching or any sign of wear. I like that it is adjustable and that it has 2 solid steel D-rings. They are very easy to tell apart. One D-ring is for use as a martingale and the other allows the collar to be worn without tightening when your pup pulls. These options are great! My only little tiny wish is that the small o-hook for a dog tag be placed such that your pup’s “tag on a ring” would lay flat when the collar was on. I highly recommend this dog collar.

El hecho de que tenga la opción de quitar y poner abriendo el collar es excelente. Se debe tomar en cuenta que viene MUY amplio. Mi mascota es una akita, y no le maltrata para nada el pelaje.

My dog's neck is 11"; the size chart says to add 2" to get the correct size. The small is supposed to be 10"-15", but it's still huge on her at its tightest.It appears to be a quality collar and the buckle seems strong; the tag ring did seem rather large in relation to the collar. Unfortunately we won't be able to try it out since there's no extra small.
