As stated in my 24 May 2023 email to Vanilla Underground, my grandson is 5 years old and the age 6 trunks he had for his swimming lessons were getting a little tight. So we bought a swim suit combination of shorts and shirt tagged as an age group 7-8 years. The item arrived within the time quoted and appears to be of good quality. Unfortunately, while he is larger than your average 5 year old, he is not big enough to be classifies as 7-8 years old, and the swimsuit tagged that size just does not fit him. Correspondence with Vanilla Underground was quickly answered, although, despite mentioning he was only 5 years old, Vanilla Underground defended the size of their swimsuit as "not all 7-8 year olds are the same size". Obviously they did not read my email properly as I stated our grandson was only 5 years old. They did offer to refund the cost but I had to send it back at my cost, which was almost as much as the swimsuit itself so I haven't bothered. We have now passed it on to a friend who has a child who can fit in to it (still not aged 7 or 8) but I am not happy that I have wasted my money on a product which given the age advertised in the description should have been big enough to fit a 5 year old, let alone a 7-8 year old.
