My nephew and his are expecting their first baby in Jan. 24. Their theme for the nursery is the more natural colors of Winnie the Pooh!Soooo.... that's the theme of their first baby shower his mother/mother in law and I are planning!!I'm having a BLAST with putting it together. For the variety of games we have planned, the majority of prizes will be Honey Decanters. There are sooooo many to choose from ! This was the first one which caught my eye so I ordered it right away.It is EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED and came packaged well.Looking forward to seeing the recipients expression when they open this prize !

I think this holds at least 6 oz. It's fairly sturdy ceramic, quite cute/attractive, and has the typical dipper. The opening is smallish, so refilling it from a jar requires a funnel or narrow spoon. We like it.

The pot and dipper are smaller than I expected, but cute. Would have preferred both being at least 40% larger. Using it for agave nectar anyway.

This is a very cute little jar for honey and seems to be well made. It is a 'dainty' ceramic so it could easily break if dropped, i.e. not for clumsy people! The wood stick comes with it and fits perfectly in the lid opening. I like honey but not the sticky mess it can leave, especially when it drips down the side of the jar. This also is pretty enough to leave out on the counter where it can't be forgotten either. I buy honey that's made locally and is sold in a 16 ounce glass jar and this is a good way to keep some of it on the counter or table. The lid doesn't have a rubber seal and the stick seems to cover the opening so air doesn't get inside, not much at least. I have only recently started taking a spoonful of honey every morning for seasonal allergies, something a friend told me about which helps alleviate allergy symptoms - don't know yet if it really works but it's worth trying! This would make a nice gift for someone too!
