Precautions
To ensure proper sealing, avoid filling Mason jars to the brim with liquid food, and make sure the lids are dry. Excessive liquid can result in too small a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the jar, causing the seal to fail.

This suction sealer is great for keeping my fresh pressed juice. It's a simple touch of a button and the little sound it makes is enough to let me know it's working. The suction action is a gentle pull and my juice stays fresher, without the oxidizing effect of not using a jar sealer. I would definitely recommend this item for it's ease of use and effective sealing. It's been great for refrigerator pickled veggies too!

This item does not work. It just sits on top of the jars and moans, it doesn’t actually seal anything? The suction power seems nonexistent, and it is a bad value for money since you aren’t actually getting a product that works as it is intended.

We got this to preserve berries and fruit, and it's been a huge help! We push the button twice each time (so 40s total) and have never had issues with things going bad. Every now and then it doesn't want to start, but I just readjust how it's sitting and it works every time. It definitely makes a noise, but nothing too crazy -- exactly what I'd expect.
