Perfect direct replacement MAF sensor that returned my cars performance to economical and stable. My car was suddenly rough idling and would pulsate then while driving to wok the check engine light came on, then when I parked and turned off the car I saw steam coming out from under the car. I check the code and saw it was a P0113 which was the MAF sensor improperly ready the intake air temperature, in fact it stated that the air temperature was too high causing the car to overheat. I unplugged the MAF sensor and drove which I had to do carefully until the car adjusted to not sensing the MAF sensor and I did this so that the car would not overheat. This MAF sensor is inexpensive and works to bring your car back to operating normal. You need a TT20 tamper proof Torx also known as a security Torx to remove the MAF sensor. For peace of mind I definitely recommend cleaning or changing your MAF sensor at 50K miles.

I have a ford focus 2003.. its one of the models this part is suppossed to fit... it Looks almost identical to the original part but the round part that slides into the air intake that has a small oring on it is Way to loose and has actual freeplay when inserted into its mounting hole instead of a snug press fit.. I added a larger oring and it ended up working.. if you were to just bolt this on, in my car at least, it would have not sealed and leaked air causing the car to run lean.. once I fixed the install issue, it seemed to work , no check engine light and car ran normally..
