This product does NOT fit a 2004 bmw 530i it is made of brittle plastic and breaks quickly, I would not recommend getting it.

2001 X3 was having issues with idling, kept on stalling, gave me multiple codes with the majority of them stating ignition misfires in most of the cylinders, along with lean codes, replaced the spark plugs, and ignition coils. Received same codes/issues, decided to replace the MAF, car idled, no more stalling, all the codes went away. Was skeptical at first at the price point but definitely fixed all my issues, highly recommend!

I will be the first one to say buy bmw parts that are or oem for your car. I needed a maf sensor and this was overnight delivery and was cheap. I figured if it was crap I would return it. I was impressed it worked great.I know it works well because with old maf my sensor mpg was 14.1 in city driving or highway never changed. After this sensor I saw the mpg dramatically increase in real time. It went to up to 20.1 mpg on 35 mile trip on freeway. Don't know how long it will last but for now I'm very happy with it for 10 times less than oem. I'm happy I took a chance.

Was a bit hesitant because of low priced, but worked perfectly, and check engine light is now off. This replaced a German OEM brand MAF which lasted only a little over a year.

The inlet side has a smaller outer diameter than the OE MAF sensor of an M54, so the interface between the air box and the MAF sensor isn't sealed, and some unfiltered air can make its way into the engine, which is quite dangerous.

Wasn’t really expecting this thing to work for more than a week but 1 month in it’s still working. Will update when it dies
