This is for small outboard motors and not for most motors on boats like a bass boat or similar larger boat. I can’t attest to the quality as it was way too small for my 90 H.P. Mercury.

Gets the job done. Rearrange foam if you have a rattle. It will only last a season or two on salt water. I’m on my second one in two years. Perhaps the extra investment for stainless steel is worth considering. However, I would recommend this for the money

I’ve mounted it on my 5PS Mercury motor. Fitted very well and the lock is in the lower pars, so it is protected by sun and rain.

The first and most prominent name for the product as advertised is Masterlock yet nothing on the product or packaging mentions that term. The product seems okay but I purchased this product in part based on my experience and confidence in the Master Lock brand. This lock is made by Fulton, a good brand, just not Master Lock.

Very happy with it. I have used cheaper units with paddle lock but like the lock on bottom and the lock has cover to keep water out.
