I needed to route some cords out of a PVC set up for my snake, so I got a 2in circle saw and it matched almost perfectly. It had a slight wiggle/gap so I just applied a couple layers of plumbers tape and it fit in great.

After reading many reviews for similar items, it seems a common issue was that the grommet was not of the actual size stated. I ordered the 2 inch version and it fit snugly into a hole created by my 2 inch hole saw bit. I was a little concerned that it wouldn't fit all all of the cables I needed to run, but it will fit 4 cables of the power or Ethernet sized diameters on the largest setting. Not sure it would fit more than that. Its also nice you can order a single one instead of a multi pack when you just need one.

It said to use a 2" hole saw so I cut a two inch hole then realized the hole was too big. I had to add electrical tape around this thing to get it to stay in the hole. Other than that it does the job fine enough. I can't say it's heavy duty but it looks nice and clean once it's put together. The cover has three opening sizes to choose from. They are all pretty small. I can't use that cover with more than a half dozen small cables.

Needed a grommet to run a large power strip cord through a kitchen countertop and this fit the bill. It does fit loosely when you use the suggested hole size, but I wrapped some tape around it and snugged it up. Works great now and looks very finished

This is a nice piece. After reading bad reviews for other gommets I "splurged" on this pricier one. It is slightly too small for my 2" hole, a few wraps of electrical tape made it snug. The cover comes off easily and has two different opening (small and a bit less small) to run wires. If you're trying to run a few PC power cables and video cables through it you probably won't be using the cover. Happy enough that I'm buying two more.

Just as advertised. I saw some postings saying this needed a 2-1/4" hole, but the one I received clearly said a 2" hole saw and I measured and used a 2" hole saw with no problems. The piece fit fine in the 2" hole.Works perfect as a very inexpensive desk grommet for my computer power and data cords. The outer shell is just that - a plastic shell 2" outer diameter plus a flanged and beveled top that extends out past the hole a good 1/4". Even if you aren't precise about your 2" hole, this won't fall in unless you cut a 2-1/2" hole. The top insert that snaps into the shell is a two-piece unit. The lower piece has three different-size gaps cut in it, in case you really want to be picky about your cords. The upper piece swivels around to let you pick any of the three holes, and helps to close up any gaps if you are using a little larger lower gap than you need. The insert snaps into the lower shell securely - it won't pop out just by moving a cord a little bit, but it is easy enough to pop out to change cord arrangements.

We used this in a console table we made for behind the sofa. Our cords are plugged into a power strip underneath and feed through this grommet so we can charge things. It installed great and is exactly as expected. There are a few options to give you versatility in the opening space. The only thing i don't love is that it sometimes doesn't swivel smoothly. I like that i can make the opening the size i want and for the price, i think this exceedes expectations.

There isn't too much you can say about a grommet. This is well made and suits the purpose. Perhaps more importantly, I emailed the manufacturer to determine if the center section could be removed and got a response. Sadly having ANY manufacturer respond shouldn't be a big deal but it is. These people passed that test so I recommend them and their product.
