If the door locks stopped working, disconnect the cables to the battery and let it sit for at least 10 minutes (I let mine set for 25 minutes). This resets the computer. After that reconnect the battery cables in the locks should work, it did for me.First, be sure to use the little pryer that is included to lift up the no screwed in side when removing the plate. Yeah, I broke the clip off of mine. BUT, the screws in the door grab holds it all snug, anyways. This replacement took me, a 66 year old woman that has never done this before, about 5 minutes. Easy and cost saving DIY.Had a bit of a struggle getting the center wire connector out, it was tight and I don't have a strong grip. Putting it in the replacement was even harder (for me...old lady) so got a co-worker to squeeze it in. Works great!

Tried all the weird hacks: disconnect battery, touch leads together, wait xx minutes, etc. Finally just replaced the switch and driver window will roll up and down again. For some reason, all doors don't automatically unlock when turning the car off like they used to. But small inconvenience compared to having my window stuck down. And WAY less than what these used to cost from GM - like $200. $20 is a bargain! And the backlights work too!

Had bought two other switches from different supplier they both started not working properly with in a day or 2 and the lights were green. This set had white lights which matched other factory switches ( they are brighter) working on week and not a problem.

"looks" OEM, but...though it was easy to install, it's NOT programmed to unlock all the doors when shifting to park as the OEM one did. Also, when driving at night, it doesn't have the same glow as the OEM and OEM mirror adjustment buttons, nor any of the other OEM switch panels. Wouldn't be a big deal if it didn't glow a bright white making it obvious.

Product is a great value compared to the one from the factory, or even a parts store. Fit is great, works like a charm. Note that the back-light color is not quite factory, at least for an '07 H3 Hummer. Lights are greener than original, but they are not bad. Would not notice unless you really look for it (for example when you are installing).Update: after one day, the switch failed. The replacement switch did not work either. I ordered a THIRD switch from a different vendor, and this one worked. I would be cautious. FYI, the first switch did not operator the driver's side window. The second switch did not operate the driver's side window, nor did the power locks work. Finally, the picture shows that there is an orange band on the window lock-out button (this is factory). The switches I received did NOT have this orange band.
