I drink matcha so much but have been using an instant matcha, but it's time for an upgrade! This set is so impressive for the price! Beautiful, quality ceramic pieces. I love that it comes with a Japanese-style mat and a mountain feature as a prop. It's so unique!

I love the coloring, size & shape of this matcha set. All pieces of the set came in good working condition and seem to be made with good craftsmanship. I was confused about the little black spoon rest - thinking at first what is this weird little porcelain black cloud thing for? Ha! I got this set for my office after having a good experience with a similar set at home. My favorite aspect that sets this apart from my current set is the pretty sage color and the bowl shape: I love that it is similar to a mixing bowl shape with a super useful spout since I always end up pouring the matcha mixture into another glass.

First time using a proper matcha set for my lattes, but this set would be lovely for anyone, from your hardcore latte dedicates, to the more orthodox matcha purist. Whisking with the bamboo whisk is a dream, and I don't know why it took me this long to try one. This set feels so wonderful in my smaller hands. The beautiful tea towel and mountain-shaped spoon rest brought a moment of peace and beauty to my chaos-ridden sewing table, and was just the moment of peace and quiet I needed. Receiving this set was such a wonderful gift! It took a morning ritual that was a bit of a pain, and made it into an incredibly fulfilling moment for myself. Thank you, to the producers and sellers of this product. My life is richer for owning it!Other notes for the metrics:-Yes, this is the perfect size for a matcha set, chasen, etc-Worth the money? You betcha. Also worth the moment of peace and escapism.-Speed????? Why is *this* a metric?? Is the AI drinking something stronger than matcha? Making matcha isn't about speed. It's about the purposefulness, the intent behind it, the ritual to the tea and to one's self.-Build quality: GORGEOUS. I'm tickled in every way. Other than the matcha powder (I recommend a good ceremonial blend,) this comes with EVERYTHING you need.-Taste: .....um, well, I don't imagine licking and tasting the set is....um... Going to produce any rational metrics the people would want to know about.... But I mean, it IS a classy set, and is tasteFUL, and makes a delicious cup of matcha, so....Hope that helps. Remember to never pour water heated over 170°F, or you're going to overcook your matcha powder. Soak your bamboo whisk first, allow it to soften and open up. Sift your powder into the chasen, add a little water to allow the whisk to break up any powder pockets. A gentle back and forth, S-shaped motion creates a beautiful frothy depth, to which you can add your water or milk to enjoy.

This set has all the basics covered for anyone in the house who’s into making matcha the old-school way. The bowl has a little spout, which makes it easy to pour without splashing all over the counter (especially helpful when someone’s trying to do this with kids underfoot). The whisk and scoop are lightweight but feel sturdy, and the sifter keeps things smooth.It’s a nice little ritual kit for slowing things down and doing something just for yourself. The towel and whisk holder are nice, and it all stores away easily without taking up a bunch of space. Whether it’s a peaceful morning routine or just a quiet break in the afternoon before the next wave of grandkid energy hits, this set makes it feel a little more like a moment, and less like just another drink.

Giving this 4 stars. Arrived in a nice sturdy cardboard box. It's convenient because it contains everything that you will ever need to prepare a matcha. Storing everything is kind of a pain unless you decide to store it all in its original styrofoam box. It would make a great gift for anyone who likes preparing drinks. Only 4 stars because the whisk doesn't seem like it will be easy to clean. For the price of $29, this is definitely worth it, as long as you don't expect perfection.

My daughter loves it! She really likes all the pieces especially the whisk and sifter. I’m not a matcha girl but she is and has used several times already. She adds some heavy cream and a sweetener then froths it into a foam to top off a cold brew. Like Starbucks at home but way cheaper. Would recommend for a gift.
