This review is for matell 315Pcs Black Alloy Steel Circlip Snap Retaining Clip Ring Assortment Set,Black Alloy Steel,Internal Circlip Snap Retaining Clip Ring,15sizesThese circlips range from M4-M28 in designation. The sizing comes from the anticipated inner diameter when installed in a nominal groove. These clips measure somewhat smaller in the uninstalled ID than standard, but they will likely work fine and retain whatever is needed. The finish is black oxize. Each size circlip is in its own labeled compartment in a nic plastic box with a latch. There was very little mixing of sizes during shipping.It is very helpful to have an assortment of this type of clip on hand. It seems like whenever I have to do a repair that uses these type of retainers, at least one gets launched across the bench during removal. Having spares means the job can be completed without going to the store to buy more clips.It will be handy to have this assortment in the shop, as our prior supply of circlips is almost depleted. This is a pretty good price for this quantity of clips.
