I've been searching for a replacement for my very old nylon under armor compression shorts they used to make. I'm a big boy, 5'11" 330lbs and a 44" or 46" waist depending on which brand you ask. I usually wear a 2XL in underwear and compression shorts. Based on the size chart I wasn't sure if the largest size offered, 3XL would fit, but I ordered it and I'm glad to report it fit. If anything, if I really wanted compression, I could probably fit into a 2XL.The cut is interesting. There's no pouch of any kind, but the front panel does provide a good bit of support. The seams are well placed and do not cause and chafing. The material is very nice feeling, thin but not see through and fast drying. My only complaint is the waist band. It doesn't provide enough grip so it slides down on my rear so I find myself hiking them up any time I stand up from sitting or squatting.The legs have rubberized grip bands in them so the legs stay put. The waist needs this, but I'd prefer an actual waistband rather than the body material folded over an elastic band.
