The size is not at all what you would expect for nesting dolls- these are very tiny. The paint work is also mediocre. I am not sure what the smallest piece is. Very disappointing.

Was given as a gift as my niece collects nesting dolls and loves Sherlock Holmes. She loves them, the only complaint is that they are very hard to open, otherwise they are wonderful.
