Comes with 5 keys, which is what we needed because many people come in and out of the place. The padlock locking mechanism has no spring, which is good. The key won't come out unless you close the lock, so you don't leave it unlocked by mistake. It feels very robust and solid.

One of the things I really appreciate about this lock is the sturdy construction. It feels solid in your hand and especially from being made from durable steel. That alone just gives peace of mind knowing that it's not going to break easily. I also love that it comes with five keys. It's nice to have extras on hand for family members or in case I misplace one.The protective coating is a nice touch too. It seems to keep the lock looking good and I haven't had any issues with it sticking or being difficult to turn.I recommend giving the this padlock a try.

A good quality padlock comes with 5 keys easy to lock and open and the fact its weather proof means hopefully this padlock is going to last for years, I would definitely recommend it and would buy again if I needed a padlock

Well worth the money. Love the fact it doesn't have a spring in it. I think it will last a lot longer than the other locks I have bought. Love that is comes with multiple keys too!

Great weather proof lock! Only wish I was able to get a couple more keys but the keys are proprietary and my local locksmith didn't have blanks and if he did he said he wouldn't be able to cut the keys.

I’m a bit of a lock nerd. I have high security padlocks worth well over $100, to cheap smaller $6 locks that I cut my lock picking teeth on. I added this lock to my collection to see how it stands up to other, similar more expensive locks. It holds its own.This lock is solidly built, if a bit sloppy in its tolerances. As this is a disc detainer core with bearing locking pawls, it should be immune to bump and shim attacks, as well as from tapping attacks. It’s not pick proof by any means, but not easy at all. This is especially true if you don’t have the proper tools. I wouldn’t call this a high security lock but much better than a lot locks in its price range.The lock feels solid and the coating is substantial and even. Only time and wear will bear out the anti corrosion claims. As I mentioned above, the tolerances on this lock are on the loose side and not as tight as some of the higher priced padlocks but not really a big concern in my opinion. The lock operates smoothly and locks up securely. As a disc detainer lock, you may have to twist the key a bit while inserting, to get the key fully inserted. The key is retained when unlocked. The shackle is substantial and larger than most locks in this price range. Bigger shackles (assuming they are decently hardened) make it harder for standard bolt cutters to cut the shackle. The more you have to open the cutter, the harder it is to get proper leverage.It’s better than your lower and some mid range master type locks, but not quite up to par with Abloy, Schlage, Squire, or Mul-Ti-lock. But then again you not paying those prices either. I’d say it’s on par with the mid tier ABUS locks or a higher end Master. (Yes Master does make some decent locks) A nice bonus is that you get 5 keys with the lock. This is nice, as you don’t have the added expense of having more keys cut. Also you will need to go to a locksmith to get them made. Even then they may not have the blanks in stock. Three disc detainer keys can cost upwards of $15-20 at a locksmith. So this alone puts it above most other locks in its price range.Overall a good lock at a decent price.

Good for the price. Not the most robust. And not the worst either.The drain holes to allow water to get out are a good idea. Annual WD40 or similar should keep it working well. 5 keys - maybe excessive but . . .Needing to keep the key in the lock when it’s open isn’t a big deal. . . . . Unless it’s on a key ring with umpteen others keys of course !

Great key padlock. Its made nice and strong. I'm using to keep my backyard fence gate locked. Its easy to use and I love the black color. Its a functional, great lock.
