This set makes a great gift! My dad was delighted to get such a wide variety of colorful fishing flies in an easy to organize kit. He has tried most of them and finds that they work well. The hooks are nice and sharp. They are the perfect size for just about anyone. This set is perfect for beginners just starting out or casual fisherman. They are great for younger fly fishermen, too, as they are not too expensive to replace. Overall, these are good quality and a great value!

I do a lot of fly fishing and can never have enough flies and am always trying new patterns. I generally like to tie my own but when I see a nice deal on flies I will usually pick them up and that is why I got these. This set comes with 72 flies and a very nice small double sided fly box which is basically the same as my goto fly box, all for less than $30. That is less than $.50 per fly and that is not including the cost of the box, so this really is a great bargain. And the set does come with a nice variety of flies including a bunch of nymphs, worms, streamers and dries and they are all quite well made, especially the nymphs and streamers which I am very impressed with. The dries are okay but the hackles used are lower quality so they aren't as nice as a higher quality dry with a higher quality hackle so if you are particular about your dries like I am they might not be your first choice, but even without those this is still a great set for a great price.
