I purchased this to replace what I thought was a dead hard drive only to discover the power source was the culprit .While it's claimed to be made for a security camera system , it's simply going to have to ride the shelf until the original one either kicks the bucket . Or I replace the whole system because the Swann 16 camera DVR accepts only 1 HD not multiple HDs like other systems do .It's fate to be determined later .

As my title says. This is a great price for a 4TB hard drive. Upon receiving the item, I could tell that the hard drive had been refurbished. The original sticker for details about the drive had been covered over by a new sticker.But for the price that I paid, and the specs of the hard drive. I am more than happy with what I received.

I bought this hard drive for my security cameras. I love it! I had never seen a 4TB for the price of this one and was very nervous. I'm glad I took that chance. It took a little bit to connect it to my camera's drive. But it works well! I can store so much more footage.

Great hard drive, super quiet and effective. A bit of storage loss due to being a refurb, but worth the savings. Have had to swap this between several machines with no problems from the drive.
