Happy with my purchase. I've been using a Fatty for my on-the-go art supplies but decided to go bigger to fit a hardbound A6 sketchbook inside. It fits on either side. The padding on the front and back is a nice addition as it makes it sturdier.

On point!, as usual. All Maxpedition gear is always on point. Keep in mind with this padded model, the things being protected by the padding will be stored in the right zipped pocket and left drop pocket (both inside, of course). it will matter.

Look I like the pouch.... I'll just never use it. It's too small for me, and too ...sturdy/ Hard to bend? It is a nice color and a nice enough material, I just don't really think I can make it work for me. It's smaller than I thought. I thought I could use it to carry my sewing kit, but the inside doesn't have enough space.

I have 2 of the smaller versions of this exact pouch that I picked up 12 years ago at a “trade show” and I have been using them ever since and they still look, function and feel brand new. I wanted to add things to one of them that I have set up as a “grab and go” Level 1 First Aid Kit and thought this would be the perfect upsize and it is. My other kit, fully packed, fits inside of this one and there is still room to spare so it is going to be ideal to expand my kit. MAXPEDITION has been seriously the best made and highest quality gear that I have come across for pouches and packs and still be in the reasonable price level of things for an “everyday” guy like myself. I do not pamper my gear either. I am a Contractor and Business Owner and when I get stuff that touts being tough I do not hold back on it. My other 2 have been through the ringer and they are still MINT! Seriously, they look brand new and nowhere close to being a dozen years old with rough use on them. One has lived in my truck in the south since 2012, day in and day out…all the temp extremes that happen inside a vehicle, being in direct sunlight, getting rained on, thrown around in the back with tools, equipment and gets….stuff being jammed on it and past it and it still looks like I bought it last week. The quality here with maxpedition is amazing!MAXPEDITION in my experience makes some of the best outdoor 1000D teflon treated gear available and the stuff just keeps on going and going. I never had to worry about a warranty or contacting them because I have never had a piece of their gear fail on me.I would recommend this to ANYONE and EVERYONE that needs a durable pouch to carry/organize ANYTHING that fits in it. These are laid out in a way that they are great for most any role from medical supplies, everyday gear, flashlights, fire starting and hiking supplies…all sorts of stuff. I love them and I will continue to use their gear as long as they keep building high quality stuff. Even the elastic bands hold up over time….they do stretch out some like all elastic does but these stay tighter for longer and they never get to that full, floppy and useless state that I have experienced with others. Honest to Goodness A+++++ Top Shelf High Quality Gear. This pouch is no exception and I LOVE THE ADDED SPACE I have with the BEEFY Pouch!

Maxpedition makes the absolute best gear! I have a Fatboy Verispack that I bought over ten years ago, wear every day, still looks great and going strong. Over the years, I've only had to replace the 1" plastic buckle for the lid flap that gets opened and closed several times day. Nylon gear is a bit like a pizza, better ingredients make for a better pizza. When you combine Teflon coated1000 Denier Cordura fabric, heavy duty YKK zippers and paracord pulls, oversized straps and buckles you’re getting gear that won’t give up.So I am going to post this same review for three different pocket organizers / EDC pouches. I have all three in the picture. I could speak about each individually, but what I believe will benefit most shoppers will be seeing them side by side for a visual comparison. You can use these for just about any kind of organization, and each is completely customizable for your needs. Sure, the sizes are all clearly stated, but seeing these organizers at scale will probably help more than me describing each individually.Pictured in order from left to right are Maxpedition’s 6x2.5x8, 5x2x7 then 4x2.5x6 organizers. All three are very similar and completely customizable for whatever your tasks may be. The smallest has a divider down the middle to keep smaller items separate. In addition to all the ingredients in that first paragraph, you’re also getting padded sidewalls, D-loops, molle loops, Velcro for morale patches, and mesh outer pockets. Maxpedition has been refining these smaller pouches for years and pretty much covers everything you can think of. They work as stand-alone organizers / pouches or each can easily be strapped to any larger pack with molle loops. To give you some examples of what I did with these three, I put together two level 1 first aid kits (IFACs). The medium sized pouch (5x2x7) stays with my wife and includes the basics needed for busted knuckles, scraped knees and other minor sports related troubles our kids can get into. The larger pouch (6x2.5x8) is mine and includes all the basics plus a few extras like larger gauze pads, heavy duty trauma shears, tourniquet, hemostatic gauze and sports tape. The smallest pouch (4x2x6) I use to keep my electrical multimeter, outlet and circuit testers together for quick and easy trouble shooting. These are just my examples though. If you can carry it, these pouches can keep it together for you for a lifetime. As a disclaimer, yes, I received these pouches from Amazon only having to pay tax in exchange for an unbiased review. However, please understand that I have been purchasing, using and highly recommending Maxpedition gear for many years now well before Amazon started the Vine review program. From Versipaks to sling packs, bugout bags and back packs, all are top tier quality. Also, banana for scale.
