I have a 5.11 Messenger Bag for EDC and a part-time Teaching gig I have a couple of days a week. The shoulder pad slid around, rolled and eventually started getting frayed around the edges. It was literally the worst part of the Messenger Bag. My Bail Out / Go Bag is a T3 Bolt Bag which is a great bag but had no padded shoulder strap. I bought one of these and tried it. It fit tighter on the strap than others, didn't easily slide around and was very comfortable. I bought two more Shoulder Pads, because I like them that much. Going to buy a couple more for my Wife and her Bags.
