This is the most durable and best quality sheath I've ever owned. It fits a good sized folding knife. The pictures show how the wear on this sheath is minimal and completely cosmetic. I have owned it for years and wear it all day every day working as a mechanic in a quarry so it does get plenty of abuse. I purchased 2 of these when I made the purchase and I have not had to use the second one yet and it does not look as if it will be needed any time soon. They don't make them any better than this.

A very nice sheath for a flashlight. You can extend the flap height to accommodate taller items but it's not for very tall items. The Fenix TK20R is too tall for this sheath. It's tapered bottom helps to prevent accidental button presses on the bottom of a flashlight or to keep flat items flatter inside the sheath, rather than using a more cylindrical one.

I wanted to try this for my Leathermans (Wave and Charge). I like to carry horizontally on my belt and the Leatherman pouches don't accommodate horizontal. It works well for this, but not as well as the Spec-Ops Super Sheath, which I have gone back too now for regular carry. This is a really well made pouch, with great build quality, but for my purposes, Spec-Ops is just better. Your mileage may vary.Admittedly, the differences are minor, but overall, they add up to a much better experience, namely.-The Maxpedition is a little large/loose. It relies on the elastic strap on the side to hold things tight, which works. But with something heavy, like a Leatherman, the load shifts around enough to make blindly drawing it less smooth. If you need this size/versatility, great, but for me it's a negative.-The length adjustment on the Spec-Ops is much simpler/nicer, with the flap simply velcroed onto the main body on the inside. It fits like a glove, but if I wanted something larger, it's easy to adjust. The Maxpedition has a somewhat odd arrangement with the flap going under a strap that limits the length adjustment in both directions.-The flap also shares it's velcro patch with the MOLLE mounting straps. With the flap on the shortest setting, There's less than an inch of velcro to hold the MOLLE straps tight. The Spec-Ops has a regular MOLLE strap pattern, independent of the flap.-The straps that allow horizontal belt mounting aren't quite as rigid on the Maxpedition compared to the Spec-Ops. They're narrower and probably easier to velcro into a MOLLE web, but just don't feel as sturdy on a belt.-The Maxpedition is 5g heavier for those that are counting. Some plusses for the Maxpedition:-The Maxpedition has a polyurethane coating on the inside. For something relatively open like this sheath, it's probably superfluous. I expect this to be flaking off with a few years of use, based on every pack/bag I've ever owned, but if you like this, the Spec-Ops doesn't have it.- In principle, the Maxpedition takes up less space on a MOLLE web as it is exactly two straps wide. The Spec-Ops has a single strap in the center, but then juts out half a width on either side taking up 3 columns worth of webbing. Doesn't matter for belt mounting, but if you're going MOLLE, this is something to consider. (If it's next to some soft pouches, that matters less.)I know I'm nitpicking. If I didn't have the Spec-Ops, the Maxpedition would probably rate 5 stars, based on build quality and versatility. But for horizontal belt-carry of a Leatherman, the Spec-Ops wins.

I had received a Gerber Suspension as a gift and love it, but the sheath that it came with was very low quality. After just a few months of use it began to stretch and fray the nylon and the velcro would barely stick enough to keep the flap closed against a stiff wind.I was looking for a new sheath and wanted one with a snap on the flap to ensure it was closed securely, but on all the ones I found that had a snap had other features or reviews I didn't like. The Maxpedition had great reviews but it had a velcro flap, but the reviews pushed me to give it a try.I am very glad a purchased this sheath. The nylon is very durable, it feels tougher than military surplus I have purchased and the velcro is much higher quality than my factory Gerber sheath. The sheath fits my Gerber Suspension perfectly! Not too tight but tight enough that if I should forget to close the flap, I wouldn't be worried about it falling out. The size is a bit bigger than my factory sheath, but not unreasonable. Its looks to be about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch longer and maybe a 1/4 inch narrower. The Maxpedition sheath is about twice as thick as my Gerber sheath, but that thickness is obviously due to the increase in quality and ruggedness. I highly recommend this product.

Once again another Maxpedition product that really delivers on quality. Seriously if you have a multi tool as part of an EDC (every day carry) or if you need it to strap to a bag this is your ticket seriously. I bought this once the leather pouch my leatherman Charge came with finally broke. And I havery been very pleased.PROS+ This think looks and feels indestructible. The build quality is great.+It is really flexible and can be mounted vertically and horizontally on a belt or maybe even MOLLE webbing.+It stretches so the tool inside does not rattle around any. That would be annoying wouldn't it?+It wasn't much bigger than the carrier that came with my Charge.+Velcro strip is thick and won't come undone by accident under most circumstances.CONS-That ripping velcro noise every time you go to get your tool. But honestly there was no betier option with this universal design.-Doesn't do laundryConclusionFor what I paid this was great. I honestly wear this little thing every day and couldn't be happier. It is a great replacement for my old leather one.

Yes guys, here it is.If you want gear that works,& offers you it's dimensions, call on MAXPEDITION!Wish it was made here in the US,but a great product, for many things. This one currently holds my gerber multi-tool.Gerber makes a great tool, but their sheaths suck! And if your like me,& like nice equipment,& don't mind showing it off. This is the gear.Multiple ways of attatching it to your other gear, with a combo of options built in,nice heavy duty velcro,& elastic sides to fit just about anything,& keeps it snug,& secure.A little high in price, but makes up for it in construction, attatchment flexability,& looks great,& tough.Gives RAINE Inc. a good run for their money.
