About this item

  • MAXXIS MINION DHR II: With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the Minion DHR II offers excellent cornering and braking traction.
  • 3C MAXXGRIP: Uses the stickiest, slowest rebounding rubber we offer in a mountain bike tire. This high traction compound is the same one used by our top World Cup Downhill and Enduro World Series athletes and is now available in a variety of casing configurations to cover all riders.
  • EXO+: Builds on our EXO technology with the addition of a small butyl insert around the bead. EXO+ is ideal for trail riding in moderately rocky and rooty terrain, and is also suitable for lighter weight e-bikes.
  • E25: Tires with an E25 rating are suitable for light duty e-bikes with assistance up to a maximum of 16.1 MPH.
  • WIDE TRAIL: Optimizes the tire’s tread layout and profile to match today’s modern, wider rims. Maxxis offers WT tires for everything from XC to gravity applications. A 30mm internal width rim is ideal for most applications, but WT tires can be used on rims ranging from 19mm to 35mm internal.
  • QUALITY GUARANTEE: 1-Year Manufacturer's Warranty

Tras probar el neumático en varias salidas me parece inmejorable. Es la versión Maxxgrip asique la duración será menor pero merece la pena.

As an aggressive rear tire, this is obviously the industry standard. The only down side is that these are $15-$20 more than the Bontrager SE5 that is just as good in this application, in my opinion. Other than the "value" rating, I give these 5 stars and have been using these for years.

Tire is unbelievable. It’s not even like my old regular casing tire. So much more traction and stability. Even sounds different on trail. Has a low pitch solid thump when it hits things. Has a little weight to it and you can feel it a little while pedaling. That being said I will take the xtra stopping power and traction

First time I bought MTB tires on line. Unfortunately the tire had a defect in the side walls. I had my bike shop install them. I ended up returning the defective one and bought one at the shop. Love the tire, it has a ton of grip and roll fast and quiet.

Bought a new Specialized MTB which came with the Butcher Grid Trail tires. After only about 3 weeks the knobs started separating from the tire. Specialized dealer didn't think this was much of an issue, said "Yeah, they do that", lol.Looked at some other reviews of this tire and decide to give it a go, no complaints here, almost two months in and the certainly have lasted better than the Butchers and hold the trail far better, very happy with the choice.
