I have finally had the chance to use these in the snow in my tractor in place of turf tires. The difference was amazing, the tires didn't even slip. I'm not sure how well they do on icy pavement ye, but they perform very well on snow. Previously if there was a slight hill, I had a very hard time making it up the hill while snowblowing. I had to move very slow to minimize the snow piled up in front of the blower. I didn't have that issue any more, I could push forward at full speed. Well worth it!

I was not sure so I bought this size to test for a Garden tractor rear tire which traditionally uses 23x10.50-12. The tire is match to these dimensions very well and not oversized actually matching closer to 23" dia. and 10.50" measured width considering the 10" width ATV standard as listed. The reason for choosing this tread on a garden tractor is to have the benefits of 6ply rating and lug tread but without directional lugs. Traditional directional lug tires do not work well in reverse and can get you stuck in snow. When plowing snow these are a better solution with an equal lug patern in reverse. Aggresive lug does not require chains which can damage driveway; of course excluding ice conditions where only chains on turf tires would be best, chains would fall into the very deep lugs on this tire. Weight (heavier) and ply rating is much better than comparable price more aggresive turf tires. I am very please with this setup!
