It gets the job done, after two years of using this cat on my 09 Prius, I can only say a few things. After around 15k plus miles, the p0420 code will return. There’s way around this, but you’ll have to look into them on your own. The second thing is that is does seem to be a bit smelly, but that could be a bad helping job from the shop I paid. Sounds good, and work the money.

I could not believe anybody would steal OEM converter from my daughter's 2005 Prius, but here we are..I ordered this replacement and it arrived very fast.As other reviewers noted - the fit is tight, so I needed to buy a pipe expander tool from local HarborFreight store to get it slightly expanded.The length is PERFECT - it allows to attach to the remaining stub on the resonator, as long as "your thief" cares to leave you something to attach to, in my case I had around an inch and some.Prius declared catalyst test "passed" on the very first drive-cycle, everything works as intended.Good product and I hope I will not need warranty on it years down the road.

Installed mud August in 2004 Prius, great fit. Unfortunately like the title reads. P420 code is back in less than 3 months.

What can I say.. it's a catalytic converter.. gets the job done. Easy to install. My Prius is at 240k and burning a little oil. Tried some fuel additives to clear the code like cataclean.. replaced O2 sensors.. p420 kept coming back.. the OE cat just finally gave out. The included hardware made everything go smoothly. Took about an hour to swap out. Went on a nice road trip after and the code never came back. From what I read should last a few years before getting clogged again due to the oil burning but at this price it's worth it. Will recoup the cost by selling my original cat.

Installed on a 2007 Prius after theft of original catalytic converter.The most important thing is that after installation the check engine light went off. Live in NJ. Cars must pass emissions inspection yearly, which will fail if the check engine light is on.All the parts to install were included and it all worked as well as could be expected.After install, when I completed the "clear check engine light" procedure, at first the CE light did not go out. But after a couple engine off/on starts the light went off and stayed off after driving 50+ miles.

Spent a little more than some of the other cats but this one fit almost perfectly with no welding. Of course, a lot depends on how western the scum sucking POS got when stealing your catalytic convertor in the first place. Had to expand the rear of the pipe just a bit to get it over the muffler pipe. Oh, and don't forget to order a new downstream exhaust sensor because the a-hole that cut yours off took that with him. Overall, good product, easy installation (on a lift), and it's not throwing any codes so far. Pretty happy.

Stop looking else where. If your catalytic converter got stolen like most of us here, buy this one. You get exactly what you see in the picture, nice uniform stainless steel, QUALITY welds, and correct fitting (gasket flange and slip on).It’s made in China but beats ANY other 3rd party in quality and price (damn Chinese).It slips right over to the exiting pipe where the thieves cut my mine and snug fit with exhaust manifold.Tip: use the provided flange, it fits better than the old one I had. Tested both.Also get the denso O2 sensor from amazon.Bought 3/8 extension from harbor freight, already had a 13m socket and ratchet. Used ramps and EZ PeeZ
