I really love everything about these. They seem like they're made of coated metal, so having them bang around against each other doesn't damage them. You get a LOT for what you pay, too. The sound is a gentle little tinkle rather than a loud clang. I was going to make ornaments with them for next year, but i might change my mind and turn them into a sweet wind chime. And yes, they do look like acorns.
