So disappointed. For the first moment that I dis unboxed this trash can and placed it into service on December 30, 2024. It was a rockstar in our home. Other people started buying the same model because of how well it performed. How aesthetically pleasing it was particularly in our kitchen. I even wanted to do a YouTube praising this trash can which sounds ridiculous to do a review on a trash can. The build quality the aesthetics. It even comes with trash bags. This was set out to be a winner. I tried automatic trash cans in the past and they have all disappointed. I thought that that was because I was buying bargain value trash cans, so I decided to step up to this one perceiving that at this price point it should perform and last longer. Imagine the sheer disappointment. It only lasted for 3 months. Here it is. Not even the end of March and I've already returned it because it died. Inexplicably. It raised up and never went back down and I changed batteries. I'm cleaned the sensors. I did all of the things. nothing. I was so pleased with this trash can in the beginning that I'm torn during this review, but I have to be honest and, it didn't live up to expectations for a trash can. Expectations are pretty low. Just need you to continue to work and operate longer than 3 months. Hell if you can get a year out of this thing now I'd probably say it'd be a win for you. I can't recommend it. The only reason it's getting two stars instead of one is because of how well it performed in the beginning.

This product has held up fantastic and the lid opening mechanism works perfectly. I have had this product for about a year and it looks just like it came out of the box. It holds trash bags perfectly. It can be a bit difficult to pull the trash bags out but that is expected if they’re overly full. It also does not go through batteries too fast. I was surprised that it uses AA batteries, but I have to replace them maybe about once every 5 months.

Had this for over 6 months. Batteries only just ran out with frequent use. Still looks good after that amount of time. Easy to take the bag out and put a fresh one in. Very good.

I love this trash can. I have had this trash can for about a year now and just had to change the batteries. everything is working just as it was the first day. I love the style and everything about this trash can BUT the motion detection is really sensitive. I have a cut out under my counter top to slide a trash can into. It fits perfectly. But there is about 12 inch from the top of the trash can to the counter tops and if I slide it (flush) the trash can will stay open because it thinks it's being activated. also it is in a high traffic area so it is always opening it someone eve reaches over the counter top.

Bought one and had to immediately return it for missing parts. Received a second unit, only lasted 6 months and then stopped working completely. Also, poorly designed. The top edge of the trash bin is curled inward, making it very difficult to remove the trash bags when full. The trash bags catch on the top lip of the bin. Would perform much better if the top edge was curled outward. Forget trying to contact their technical support, can't use their form because it will not accept the phone number in any format. Shop elsewhere.
