I use this remote shutter switch release with my Nikon Z6, and it works as intended. It's completely plug and play, and entirely compatible. I like to take long exposures sometimes with ND filters, and like to minimize camera shake, so this remote trigger is ideal for those scenarios. Functionally, I have no complaints, because it works seamlessly, and very well. You have a hold function that can lock the trigger for taking pictures in a "bulb" situation. Of course, if you lock it on hold, and have the camera set for firing off bursts, it'll do that as well. I only removed one star because it does feel a little plasticky, and a slight bit flimsy. As far as function is concerned, it does work well, but I can tell it's a very basic remote shutter release. Even considering that, if you're not looking to break the bank, I'd still recommend it.

I’m using this shutter release with my Nikon Z6ii and it works great. This release is wired and doesn’t require batteries. It is very light weight, which is great for hiking. It plugs into the Nikon remote port on the camera. A half press will focus the camera the same as the camera’s shutter release button. A full press will trigger the shutter. It doesn’t need to be paired or programmed and just works. There is a hold switch that can be used in bulb mode with the camera for long exposures, but you provide the timer. The cable is about 32 inches long. The only negative is there isn’t a very satisfying click when fully pressed to release the shutter, but it’s totally workable. I totally recommend this release.
