I bought this to be used for a singular nail bag / belt. I expected the leather to hold one nail bag with a 3 pound hammer and 1-2 pounds of nails or screws. First day. I wore it while framing a 3 story apartment building in the rain. It rained all day, the bag was soaked through. Its a normal rainy day. By the end of the day the belt broke. No surprise its pieced together and bonded with 3 tiny cheap brass colored pin/clamp 3 pieces of leather bound together to make one long belt. Absolute crap, do not buy.. buy a single leather belt piece.

I was a carpenter for years and always had leather tool belts and pouches. After retiring, I have put on some weight, and the single style belt buckle, was slipping past the buckle on an angle. I am remodeling my house, so I needed my gear again. This works great.

This belt seems thinner and is made out of three pieces riveted together. That creates snag points on my various tool holders.

Loved how it is strong and fits me. I have three pouches hanging on it and no problems. This will last me the rest of my life probably. Delivery was on time and it is better than I anticipated. Have already told some of my friends how great I think it is.

Seems like a well made item, but the 54" description I believe is the total length of the belt. I wear a size 48 and couldn't make it to the first set of holes.
