These are my 2nd pair of knee pads. I use them SO much, as I had both knees replaced 6 years ago. Ever since then, the first pair lasted 5 years, and when it was time to replace them, I looked no further, and just reoreded what is the most durable and comfortable pads.

Purchased for my husband who is a roofer by trade. He didn't have any complaints other than he already needs new ones. They lasted about 3 months although he can probably limp them through a little longer.

I searched a long time for replacement knee pads (having been through about 5 brands over many years as a general contractor) and finally decided on these. I was a bit surprised at how large they seemed at first but have found they are very comfortable and stable as others have reported. I have been a little disappointed that they tend to slide down my leg after wearing them foe a while, and moving around a lot, requiring me to stand up and pull them back up my legs. This only happens when I'm wearing long pants. It could be that my legs are rather thin but they are pretty large as knee pads go and so heavier than some. I have even found that the straps are longer than necessary for me while others say they are not very long. After over a year of use I am finding that the velcro is wearing out and not holding as well as at first, but this seems to be the case with all hook and loop material that gets used a lot. I will probably replace the velcro as the pad has plenty of life left in it.

First of all, I am not a big guy. Most of the upper end knee pads that I have bought over the years that have straps that are too long for me. So I love the fact that these things actually fit my knees without having to take them up. So beware if you have a larger size legs, these might not be for you. The pads themselves provide excellent support good left to right stability, allow me to move around and they stay in place.

I work on a concrete slab installing vehicle remote starts for several hours a day. The rubber base of the kneepads are flat which prevents that rolling and slippage that I experienced with other more expensive kneepads. The gel supports the knee and the contoured inner moulding surrounds the knee to prevent shifting. The one Velcro strap is comfortable however, its a little short. If you have big legs and your wearing long jeans it would be difficult to get a secure fit. I just ordered a second pair as a backup.

This is my second set of these. At first I didn't like the wide flat stance, but after wearing for a while they really stabilize yourstance while on your knees, eliminating the rocking motion you get with round knee pads. The gel works good but looses itseffect long before the pads wear out. They are still comfortable though.As with any knee pads, they do eventually wear out, but these seem to last much longer than others I've had. I will continue tobuy these as long as available.
