This is a pretty nice cloak. It's a little bit different that what I'd consider standard. First, it has a clasp built in. So you don't need to find or make a cloak pin, but on the other hand you're stuck with the glossy black clasp it comes with. The clasp is appropriately low - it doesn't ride on your neck, and you can comfortably have the hood up or down. The other unusual thing about this cloak is that it's shorter than average. This is much more sensible, you don't have to worry about it dragging on the ground, or pooling around you when you're sitting and have people stepping on it. This length is much more controllable, and it's not heavy at all.I'm of mixed feelings with the fabric. The exterior feels really nice. It's velvety, but a very short velvet that feels a bit like suede. The interior though is just the plain backside of this fabric, no lining, and all the seams show. I understand why there's not a lining at this price point, but it really needs a lining.

I bought this to wear as part of my Halloween costume. I was actually expecting a piece of cheap fabric with no hem on the bottom. I was wonderfully surprised at the weight and quality of this item. The fabric is really nice and the sewing is sturdy. It's sort of a medium weight in terms of warmth. It's not usually very cold here the end of October so this served me well. The color looks just like it is pictured online; A gorgeous shade of blue fit for royalty.I have no regrets buying this and hope to find many other opportunities to wear it.

My son loves to dress up. He creates his own costumes so I purchased this cloak for him. He is a teen approx. 5' 10" and this worked great for his needs.

No way did we think that for this price you would get quality but this is a very well made cape. The stitching is well done and the material is soft, flowy, yet thick enough to hold shape. It is floor length on my 5'2 wife but does not drag the floor. The fastener works easily and looks great. The color is a nice muted green. This is a solid addition to your cosplay closet.

This is a very nice cloak- perfect for a witchy fall event or as part of a renaissance fair outfits. It's lightweight and soft, made of like a velvet feeling material. It has a metal clasp in front. The hood is a bit large, kind of oversized but that's also kind of the whole point of this cloak. I love that it's light enough for summer (faire season) but would still be good for a witchy fall outfit.

My family has a new tradition of attending an end of summer ren faire, but haven't quite started dressing up. My kids have been asking for a cloak to wear next year and I saw this one for a good deal. It is a decent weight and seems sturdy enough for my kids to wear. I like the first green and the clasp, which makes it feel a little more unique.
