Pretty straightforward just pieces of flat steel. I don't think it's hardened, it seems like it wears pretty fast, but the price is certainly worth it. We can't use steel blade stuff in the summer due to fire risk, so these are perfect for us in these wet winter months.

We like the multi blade package for the McLane edger . Replacement of a dull blade when needed is easy. They are very durable, thick , strong and well made. Would buy again when needed.

All the blades were about 1/4" shorter than advertised. Fit on my 1974 McLane edger. Seem okay other than the wrong length that was listed.

Product is functioning fine but because of the thickness of the Arde, they are not lasting as long as previous products that I have tried. They probably are fine for most applications, but in the future, I will probably go with a thicker gauge. You get what you pay for and for the money this was a good deal.

I wish these would last longer but I am sure they are made of soft steel for a reason. They work fine.

Relatively thin and soft steel blades that wear out faster than the original blades. However, for the low price these blades are a perfect replacement.
