Installed the kit was hard starting lifters had a hard time starting and now the bled down ! Drove the truck for 3 weeks and now we have new cylinder misfires and truck sounds worse ! Most likely will need a motor now! At least a full tare down again !DO NOT BUY !!!! I don’t care how CHEEP it is !!!!

First of all the head gaskets are very poor quality , leaked coolant at the back of the head from both sides of the engine . I removed both heads and installed Fel pro gaskets I bought locally . I've now been driving the truck for a couple weeks and the MDS lifters are very noisy . Only time the noise goes away is when the MDS is active in 4cly mode . The original problem was obviously #4 lifter was destroyed and so was the one lobe on the camshaft. Buyer beware, don't spend 30 hours installing this kit , removing both heads twice and still have a lifter noise. One more small problem, the kit shows two different configurations of the water pump gasket . I received two the same . I had to buy a water pump gasket locally as well .
