This is a nice magnet to have on your refrigerator. It's a quick useful reference. It does not take up a lot of space which is nice.

My husband has a smoker and I figured this will be perfect for us to use when we smoke different types of meat. At first I thought the perfect place would be the smoker, since it really doesn't get that hot on the sides, but then determined this would be much better on either the fridge or freezer in the garage. The only thing I would change on this is to have the magnet itself be the size of a piece of paper so that the text could be in a larger font. Otherwise, this is a great reference for those that have a smoker!

It's a great chart, with very helpful information - smoking temperature, time, target internal temperature, and recommended wood - for beef, pork (including sausage under 'other'), poultry (chicken & turkey), seafood, lamb, venison (roast), duck, & quail/dove all in one place, which is what we liked. No need to continually look up the information or write it in various places then look for it when you need it! This attractive magnetic guide conveniently displays all the info.The description says it's weather-proof but it's important to note that it cannot be placed on hot surfaces. It is nice that it can be taken outside without worrying about it being damaged, but I plan to keep this inside (at least when not needed for reference outside) because it seems to me that it's better suited for inside long-term storage. I'll just put it on my refrigerator when it's not in use.It is exactly the size described, yet somehow I expected it to be bigger. That of course is my fault and not the product's. However, it is a little hard to read. While the color coding is nice, the color of the font doesn't stand out well against the background. My husband and I are getting a little older, so maybe younger eyes wouldn't have as much trouble. As it is, I would have preferred this to be a little bigger for more ease of quick reference in reading it.I wouldn't discourage anyone from buying this - it seems to be a fine quality magnet and it does have a lot of good information in one place. The size may be a plus for some people, but not for anyone who would like to be able to reference this quickly without bright lighting and their reading glasses at just the right angle. Three stars for me is a fairly satisfied, neither overly excited nor disappointed, rating.

This is a handy little magnetic chart with some convenient information for smoking meat. It fits very well on the side of my Pit Boss pellet grill hopper. The colors are great, as is the font and graphics. The lettering is slightly on the small side, so it might be a bit of a challenge for the vision-impaired, but it's nothing major.So is this chart useful? Well, I will still need to consult actual recipes when trying new cuts of meat to smoke. You can't rely on this chart alone (notice it says to smoke pork shoulder/butt for 12-16 hours, but this presumes an 18-24 lb. chunk of meat). However, as a general, quick reference tool for times when I want to ensure a safe internal temperature for a cut of meat, or determine a type of wood that goes well with a dish, this will work very nicely.

I like to grill and smoke meats - a lot. Just about every time I look on the internet for internal temperature. I keep this on the side of my outdoor prep cabinet where it's easily accessible, useful and visible for guests to see. Once, it started a conversation about smoking that got a friend interested and involved in smoking.

nice little magnetic chart that i have stuck to the pellet side of the smoker. be aware it doesn't want to be near high heat so it's location will be limited depending on the device you want to attach it to. seems like it will last so i'd recommend

This guide to smoking meats is just what I needed as I'm new to this cooking style. It sticks to my grill nicely, it's super colorful, and easy to read. The times on the chart seems to be working out fine for me so far; as I haven't had any issues with my finished product. With that being said, I give this 5/5.

Slapped this on the side of my smoker and no more having to google what temp I need to reach. It is a small thing but it makes having a good time while cooking outdoors that much easier and more enjoyable.
