Description says this socket requires 25.4mm mounting hole. It does not, it requires a 30mm mounting hole, minimum, whether mounting from top or bottom.. See the pics accompanying this reviewOtherwise looks like a decent socket. Might have given 5 stars if the description had been accurate..

Update: The vendor reached out to me because I had issues with these Tube Sockets. They listened to my concerns, and actually refunded my purchase cost. Thank you for Excellent Customer Service!These Octal Tube sockets are suitable, but they lack the ground tabs of conventional tube sockets. I had to add a terminal strip to my construction due to the lack of ground lugs.
