How to use it?
Normally open type: When no current is sensed, the normally open contact is always in the disconnected state; when current is sensed, the normally open contact is always in the connected state.
Normally closed type: When no current is sensed, the normally closed contact is always in the connected state; when current is sensed, the normally closed contact is always in the disconnected state.
What should I notice?
Please use the current sensing relay at the rated voltage and current, and do not exceed the rated current.

This sensor is good for integrated applications where AC current detection is needed to control another circuit and both circuits remain isolated. One example would be detecting a motor running to turn on a fan or vacuum.Since there is no way to introduce a power cord with an existing circuit because the cord would have to pass through the device. One end of the cord would have to not be connected in order to pass it through. This isn't an issue for me because I intend to use it in a CNC controller to sense that the spindle is running before allowing control motors to move the axis'. So, this is perfect for that type of application.It can detect high current easily but the load side is relatively low. Since I'm just using it as a signal source that isn't a problem for me. If you intend to power another device, that's fine as long as the current on the load switch is less than .3 amps. If you need more current capability, this could be use to drive a solid state relay or possibly a contactor. It is nice that the load switch can tolerate AC or DC circuits.It comes with decent instructions, a screw driver to adjust current sensing threshold and a couple of mounting screws.
